Hi. My name is Dave Meyer, and I’ve spent my life in landscaping. I started as an assistant landscaper back in High School. Rolling out turf, moving loads in wheelbarrows and generally doing the “grunt work” that fell to a minimum wage employee.

In search of greener pastures, and an opportunity to create my own business, I started my own landscaping business, Strongbacks Landscaping in 1993. And now more than 25 years later, I’m still crafting beautiful yards and gardens for my clients.

I’ve always believed in doing my best and ensuring my homeowners were not just satisfied but excited about the work I did for them. I see landscaping as an opportunity to serve people with the gifts of creativity and strength I’ve been blessed with. Like everyone else, I appreciate a pay check, but for me, the real joy of doing what I do is watching my clients stroll the grounds of their gorgeous new yards. Their smiles as they take in their new walls, pergolas, and paver walkways bring me satisfaction in a way that no pay check ever could.
